Sustained Investigation:

"How do humans hurt themselves through harming the environment? What will our world look like if we continue on this path? What changes in our lifestyles can we make to reverse the course? Throughout this investigation, I aimed to illustrate the impacts humans have on the natural environment in a multitude of ways and in different specific aspects and what alternatives are available. To focus on these alternatives, I committed to exploring different materials and methods within the process of making each piece that were all either completely natural, sustainable, or, if an eco-friendly alternative does not yet exist, at least less harmful than regular practices. In order to decide which materials and methods were most effective, I had to practice each print layer multiple times and had to continually adjust my approach to each project. I experimented numerous times with my materials and processes for each project. My goal is to inform people of what human actions cause climate change and what these effects could look like for us."
